Cinque Ports Radio started as an online station, “Romney Marsh Radio,” during the COVID-19 lockdown. It was then rebranded in March 2021 as a fully licensed Ofcom FM Community Radio 100.2, also now on 95.1 in Rye East Sussex!
When it comes to music, it literally rules Dave’s life. He has been DJing since the early 80s, but it wasn’t until the mid 90’s that he became interested in radio presenting. Dave loves and respect all types of good music, right from as far back as the classic 60s through to the indie pop ’90s & 00s.

closeBeing a child of the 70s, I began to take notice of chart music at around the age of 5 or 6 years old, which would have been the early 80s. Like many of my school friends I would be glued to the radio as often as possible hoping to hear my favourite records. I used to visit the local record shop with my mum from a very early age, which is where my music collection began.
