I started doing discos back in 1975 until 2025. I joined the Royal Navy in 1976 and presented a regular show on HMS Torquay ships radio. I was medically discharged in 1981.
I was lucky enough to get a start on Hospital Radio at Sheppey General Hospital for about 5 years, alongside Geoff Bagley (Caroline) & Terry Purvis (Invicta) who gave me a wealth of their experience, and due to work and family commitments and had to leave.
In 2014 I joined Allhallows Community Radio, I then was successful to become a presenter on Sittingbourne’s Community Radio station 106.9 SFM presenting weekend early breakfast, then Sunday Brunch, Drivetime and a Northern Soul show, and out and about with the roadshow.
2017 I went to BRFM on the Isle of Sheppey Drivetime, Saturday Breakfast & a Motown and Northern Soul show.
In 2020 I returned to 106.9 SFM presenting Drivetime two afternoons a week, Thursday and Sunday breakfast, and covering shows when required.
I joined CPRFM in September 2024 presenting the afternoon show and the Soul show on Saturday evenings, I now present weekday early breakfast.
I have also supplied and ran the villages summer fetes and volunteer at a local special needs school doing their discos on a regular basis
