Marky Mark started his radio days back in the early 80s at Birch Radio, a hospital radio station in his home town of Rochdale, where he also worked in the local night club, Xanadu.

In 1997 he went to work for the holiday company Pontins in Devon and a year later moved to Camber Sands in East Sussex. At this point he joined the local hospital radio station at the Conquest Hospital in St Leonard’s On Sea.. He later went on to join Romney Marsh FM. In 2011 he moved back up north to start a new family, and joined local radio Canal Side 102.8 FM as well as Whaley Radio.
